Setup Fee
Unlike most web hosting providers, we have never demanded a setup fee. The opening of a new hosting account costs almost nothing to us – that is why we can afford not to burden our clients with unnecessary expenses.
Disk Storage
Disk space is the amount of space allotted to your web hosting account. This space is used to store your html files, graphics, audio/video files, e-mails, databases, and any other files that may make up your web site. With Q&Host you can have 10 000 MB of disk space with our Economy plan - enough space to publish any type of web site.
However, if your site will have many multimedia files or other heavy-duty content, consider using our Business plan. It gives you 50 000 MB of disk space and the freedom to grow without having to worry about space constraints.
Data Transfer
Our Economy plan comes with 100 GB (gigabytes) monthly traffic free-of-charge. Sites that go over their bandwidth limit are charged €5 per each additionally generated GB. If you need more bandwidth, consider our Business plan: its 500 GB/mo. traffic allowance should meet the requirements of almost any site. The charge for additional bandwidth with the Business plan is only €1 per each additionally generated GB.
Free Subdomains
Subdomains are individual Web addresses built upon a pre-existing domain name, e.g. sub.example.com. For example, if you wish to have a separate web site for your sales department, you could create a subdomain called sales.example.com. This way the URL of your sales web site will look more professional and thus add to the total competence of your web presence.
With Q7Host you can have as many subdomains as you need. We offer up to 30 subdomains as part of our Economy hosting plan and 150 for our Business plan. If you need more, there is a small one-time fee of €5 per additional subdomain for the Economy plan or €3 for the Business plan.
MySQL Databases
We offer MySQL support with all our packages. Twenty MySQL databases are included with our Economy plan, and 100 with our Business plan. You can manage your MySQL databases through the online phpMyAdmin Database Manager, found in the Control Panel. You can also enable remote access for your MySQL users through the Control Panel.
Domain Parking
When you have a domain parked on your account it will act the same way as your primary domain. It will show the same site and any e-mail sent to the parked domain will be delivered to the mailboxes you already have for the primary domain.
So for example if you have example.com, example.net and example.org, and need all of them to open your Web site, domain parking may be the right solution for you.
With our Economy plan you can have up to ten additional domains parked at your primary domain. If you need to have more parked domains, consider our Business plan, where 50 domain parking slots are available.
FTP Sub Accounts
With FTP sub-accounts you can allow other people to manage certain areas of your site without providing them with your account login information.
With our Economy plan you can have up to 30 FTP sub-accounts. If you need more, consider our Business hosting plan, where 150 FTP sub-accounts are available.
